The guiding principle of the S.E.E.D.S. office is grounded in A&M-Commerce’s commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion whereby people of all backgrounds who live, learn, and work on campus feel welcome and valued. The office is a cornerstone in the university’s efforts to create a welcoming and collaborative community.  We believe diversity is defined as any collective mixture characterized by differences and similarities, related tension and complexities that are applied in pursuit of organizational objectives. We support and advocate for students from traditionally underrepresented and marginalized groups, while promoting dialogue and social change to engage and educate the campus community on Diversity, Inclusion, and Multiculturalism. Through our programs and initiatives, we hope the students at A&M-Commerce know S.E.E.D.S. as not just a space, but a place for ALL where we “Embrace Equality and Celebrate Differences.”
