Danielle J. Davis

DanielleDanielle J. Davis serves as the Director of the Leadership Engagement and Development Department (L.E.A.D.) as well as the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) Office, where she is responsible for helping with curriculum design and development, and assisting in the planning for the {I}Experience Leadership Retreat, Summer Leadership Summit, and the Extraordinary Leadership Series. In addition to the above duties, she is furthering the L.E.A.D. initiative of developing multi-year/multi-tier leadership programs that will prepare all students to be change agents in their community.

Prior to joining the L.E.A.D. Department, Danielle worked for a Fortune 500 company as an Internal Auditor.  A two-time graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Danielle earned a Bachelors of Science from the College of Business in Accountancy and a Masters of Education in Higher Education. Currently, her professional interests include leadership education and development, social change leadership and strengths-based leadership.  In her free time, Danielle enjoys working out, playing with her dogs, Prince and Oreo, and traveling. She is passionate about cooking and reading. Her goal is to change the world one student at a time.

Joshua Moore

JoshuaJoshua Moore is the Associate Director of the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) Office. Joshua is responsible for the curriculum design and development for the office as well as campus programming and support of the traditionally marginalized populations (underrepresented minority, LGBTQ+, and women).  He also work with various campus partners on programming and initiatives related to diversity and inclusion.

Prior to coming to Texas A&M University – Commerce, Joshua worked for a regional institution in Eastern Kentucky. A two-time graduate from Western Kentucky University, Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science from the Gordon Ford College of Business in Human Resources Management and a Masters of Arts in Education in Counseling and Student Affairs. Currently, his professional interest include diversity education, multicultural affairs, and leadership development. While he has time, Joshua enjoys being an uncle, traveling, and shopping.

Sedney Bolden

blSedney Bolden serves as a Graduate Assistant for the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) where she oversees all programs promoting inclusion on campus. Sedney enjoys being part of the office staff and serving as an educator for the campus population where she uses the social issues of today to ignite the minds of our students to think critically and through the lens of someone not like them.

Sedney is a fellow graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce completing her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Child & Family Studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Higher Education. Her professional interests include inclusive programming, social justice, peer mentoring, and leadership development. Sedney enjoys completing DIY projects, spending time with friends, and discovering new fun and impactful ways to incorporate inclusion on the A&M Commerce campus.

Karina Tamez

blankMs. Karina Tamez currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S) office at Texas A&M University – Commerce. Some of her responsibilities include the planning of events for Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBT History Month, Native American History Month, Black History Month, and Women’s History Month that promote civic engagement and diversity and inclusion amongst the A&M – Commerce community.

Karina is a fellow Texas A&M University – Commerce graduate completing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management in May 2017. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Marketing. Currently, her professional interests include leadership education, civic enrichment, cultural diversity enrichment, and mentoring. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing volleyball, and dancing. Karina has a passion for interacting with students and hopes to get those students involved on a college campus and make them feel included with the cultural programs and initiatives.

Wil Burger

WillWil Burger III serves as the Student Assistant to the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) Office. As a student assistant, he assists in daily tasks such as operating and managing the front desk, assisting students with any inquires about the department and/or university, as well as assisting in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for students to come and feel welcomed.

 Wil is a junior, currently working toward a Bachelors degree of Music Education. Wil plays a variety of instruments, and has been playing since the age of eight.  After graduation Wil plans to attend graduate school at Texas Christian University and pursue a degree in Musical Performance. Wil enjoys playing his instruments, exercising, watching movies, and “Embracing Equality”.

Tierra Giles

Tierra Giles

Tierra Giles serves as a Student Assistant to the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) Office. Her role as a Student Assistant, she is responsible for providing a welcoming environment for any and guests who enter the suite and assisting in the planning and preparation of the events hosted by the S.E.E.D.S. Office.

Tierra is a junior in the Nursing program, working towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Upon graduation, Tierra plans on attending graduate school to pursue a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. In her free time, Tierra enjoys modeling, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

Edward Monroy

bkEddie Monroy serves as a Student Assistant to the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.DS.) Office. As a student assistant, Eddie is responsible for carrying out daily tasks such as operating the front desk, creating a welcoming environment at the the office as well as assisting in the planning and preparation of cultural and inclusion events held by the S.E.E.D.S office.

Eddie is a Sophomore, currently working towards his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a minor in Sociology and a second minor in U.S. Latino and Latin American Studies. Upon graduation, Eddie plans to attend graduate school and pursue a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. In his free time, Eddie enjoys listening to podcast, traveling, spending time with his family, and watching movies.

Kendal Hill

KendalHillKendal Hill serves as the Student Assistant to the Serving Engaged Empowered & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) Office. As a student assistant Kendal assists in daily tasks of the office, preparation and assistance with the S.E.E.D.S. events, lending a hand to every student with any inquires about the department and/or the university, as well as providing a smiling face or a concerned ear for students to come and feel welcomed.

Kendal is working towards her Bachelor’s degree of Science in Sociology as well as Criminal Justice. After graduation Kendal plans to attend graduate school and pursue a degree in Theology and minister to youth and work with juvenile delinquents. Kendal enjoys shopping and watching TED talks.
