Women For Weights

Learn about the science, research, benefits and myths behind resistance training for women. Learn proper techniques, common mistakes, new exercises and styles of training programs to create an individualize workout program to leave with. This workshop will be hosted by the Fitness and Wellness department assisted by the female personal trainers and fitness staff of Campus Recreation. 

Who: TAMUC students, faculty/staff, and MRC Members

Cost: $5

Strength Training

Learn how to create an individualize strength training program based on rep max percentages, find your 1 rep max on bench press, deadlift, and squat. Learn about the science and research behind strength training and how to avoid common mistakes in technique, programming, and progressing. This workshop will be hosted by the Fitness and Wellness department assisted by the personal trainers and fitness staff of Campus Recreation.  All fitness levels and experiences are welcome!
