College for all Texans Foundation

The Texas Affordable Baccalaureate (TAB) Intensive is a one-day intensive that will include sessions on planning and implementing Competency-Based Education programs. Colleges and universities interested in applying for the Texas Affordable Baccalaureate Expansion Grant Program funds are encouraged to attend. Space is limited to 50 registrants.  Please register by September 28, 2016. There is no charge to attend this event.

TAB•Lab: Launching Affordable Baccalaureates –  February 17-19, 2016 in Austin, Texas

On February 17-19th in Austin, TX, the Institute is co-convening a statewide meeting with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Western Governors University Texas. TAB•Lab is an opportunity for leaders of Texas public and independent institutions of higher education to learn directly from institutions that already have built, or are in the process of building, the foundation to launch affordable baccalaureates. Sessions will be led by experts from a wide range of national organizations and institutions, including the American Council on Education, the Council for Adult and Experiential Education, HCM Strategists, WGU, the University System of Georgia, the Competency-Based Education Network, Brandman University, and College for America.
