The compassion and generosity of a single person can affect hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals and it happens on a daily basis at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Endowed scholarships help students pay for tuition they may not have been able to afford on their own.  Faculty make groundbreaking research discoveries, mentor students and give them needed support with the help of endowed professorships. Additionally, our volunteers fulfill an imperative role in this university's success.  We appreciate the individuals who graciously give their time and resources, transforming the lives of our students.

Corporations & Foundations

The Office of Advancement develops and strengthens partnerships with corporations and private foundations, fulfilling their mission, while advancing the educational, social, research and outreach objectives of the university.

For university faculty and staff, we help develop program concepts, identify potential partners and develop strategies for building relationships with corporations and foundations.

Employees (Bridge Builders)

Bridge Builders are current and retired faculty and staff who have made financial and in-kind gifts to the university. The term Bridge Builder was taken from a favorite poem of Professor Mayo’s, and this term embodies what our generous faculty and staff do for our students when they make a contribution, which is building bridges between students and education. One way employees give is through payroll deduction to the Annual Fund in an area of their choice. Contact Amber Countis at or 903-468-8187 to find out how to become a Bridge Builder today!
