COMMERCE, TX (Nov. 10, 2011)—The Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority is hosting its Sing Song Shamrock Event, “A Night At The Movies”, at 7:00 p.m. on November 17 in Ferguson Auditorium at Texas A&M University-Commerce. All proceeds go to Prevent Child Abuse America and local organizations that prevent child abuse.
Sing Song is a themed singing contest held on campus each November, with groups and individuals competing against each other. As an official Shamrock event, Sing Song is one of hundreds of Kappa Delta fundraisers held nationwide to raise money for national and local child abuse prevention efforts.
To date, Kappa Delta has donated more than $7.1 million to help prevent child abuse in our country.
Kappa Delta’s ties to Prevent Child Abuse America link back to 1981. Founded by Donna Stone, a Kappa Delta sister, PCA America has led the way in building awareness, providing education and inspiring hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the abuse and neglect of America’s children.
Tickets are $3 if purchased in advance, and $5 at the door; they can be purchased from any Kappa Delta lady.
