Latino Night Talk Show with Former Boxer

COMMERCE, TX— Former two-time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion John Ruiz is coming to Texas A&M University-Commerce to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Dr. Robert Rodriguez will be the host of the Latino Night Talk Show at 7:00 p.m. Oct. 4, at the SRSC Conference Room C.

John Ruiz is the first Latino boxer to win the World Heavyweight Championship. After the show, he will be signing autographs and taking photos with his WBA belt. Also, there will be a public boxing workout for everyone the following morning, Oct. 5 (details TBA).

These events are free and open to the public.
