Staff Employee of the Month

The staff employed by Texas A&M University-Commerce represent one our University's richest resource. The Staff Employee of the Month has been established to recognize and reward university staff for their dedication and contributions to the success of the mission of the University.

The Staff Recognition Committee will review nominations by  staff, faculty and students based on the university values of Integrity, Innovation, and Imagination. On the nomination form, be sure to address each bullet point listed below. The top candidate nomination will be presented to the Staff Council. Present members of Staff Council are excluded from participation.

Nominee Eligibility

Staff Council Members are not eligible to nominate or be nominated for Employee of the Month. Immediate family members cannot nominate immediate family for Employee of the Month. Employee must be a full-time, staff member with at least six months of concurrent service to be eligible for Employee of the Month

  • Serves as a leader in creating a civility-minded campus


  • Problem solver/resourceful
  • Seeks opportunities to support university activities and initiatives
  • Encourages others to perform at their highest level


  • Maintains a spirit of helpfulness
  • Displays Lion Pride
  • Actively supports student success at A&M-Commerce
