Degree Programs

Welcome to the Department of Business Administration & MIS at Texas A&M University-Commerce, one of the fastest growing departments in the Texas A&M system. Our department offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with the following majors:

  • General Business (online or face-to-face available | Degree Plan)
  • Management Information Systems (Degree Plan)

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Business Administration (Degree Plan) is available with a six course minor or a 27 semester hour teacher certification program. The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in business administration is offered as either a face-to-face or online program.

Data-driven business has changed the requirements for business professionals. To prepare our students for this new trend in the job market, our department offers multiple quantitative courses in business administration such as quantitative analysis, risk management, business research, and statistical modeling. With skills in cutting edge technology and quantitative studies, students can choose from a wide range of career options in industries such as healthcare, oil and gas, banking, telecommunications, and a wide range of service industries.
