2.  12 semester hours of research tools:

      3 semester hours of methodology, (HIED 695)
      3 semester hours of statistics, (HIED 617)
      3 semester hours of qualitative methods, (HIED 696)
      3 semester hours of qualitative or quantitative research, (HIED
       698 or HIED 619)

3.  Plus a minimum of 9 semester credit hours of HIED 718        (Dissertation)

The student must complete 60 semester hours beyond the master’s degree, including dissertation.

A maximum of 12 hours taken before admission may be counted on degree.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
  Undergraduate overall GPA of 2.75 or 3.00 on the last 60 undergraduate hours or a 3.40 on all master’s work and beyond, a GRE score, vita, writing sample, and references.
