LeoTeach Symposium 2017


We are pleased to announce our 3rd  LeoTeach Symposium!  LeoTeach is the secondary STEM teacher preparation program at Texas A&M-Commerce.  This event is a free professional development opportunity for STEM educators and FUTURE STEM educators.  STEM educators, please bring a few future science and math teachers with you to the Symposium (they must also register).

The Symposium will be held on the A&M-Commerce campus on Saturday, April 1st, 2017 from 9 AM-3 PM.  Lunch will be provided. The event will be enriched by your active participation, so please consider offering an exciting and engaging session! Topics for possible sessions include (but are not limited to):

  • Instructional strategies (e.g. lesson ideas, class management strategies, project /problem based learning, STEM integration)
  • Lab activities
  • Education research
  • Action research

Please come share your enthusiasm for STEM teaching! If you are interested in offering a session, please submit a proposal by Sunday March 12 on the following website.
