Doctoral Comprehensive Examination Dates

Exam Administration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Location: Henderson Hall 214 (computer lab)

Only 2 attempts are allowed for doctoral students to pass their comp exam.

To register for an exam, complete the registration form and attach it to an email to Marilyn.Lewis@tamuc.edu .

Doctoral Comps Registration

You need to complete all Research Tools before you may take comps unless you have permission from your advisor.

NOTE:  If you require accommodation through the office of Student Disability Resources and Services (SDRS) for test taking, please contact SDRS at 903-886-5835 to discuss services available. Make sure you inform the staff in the Counseling office that SDRS will be assisting you with your exam needs. Keep in mind that SDRS can only proctor exams between the hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you signed up to take an exam and did not take the exam or pass that exam, then you must sign up again for the next exam you plan to take.

You do not need your residency requirement met before you take comps, but it will need to be completed before Admission to Candidacy can be completed.
