Level 1 & 2 Exams 

The Level 1 and 2 Exams are administered the third week of each semester and through eCollege in MyLeo as an online exam. After the registration form is received and processed, you will be notified of the CRN so you can enroll in that section of the exam. There is no fee for taking the Exam. You will have one week to take the exam after it is opened (see dates posted on this page.

You will be able to enter the CRN on the Add/Drop page while registration for courses is open to students.

Registration Form for Level 1 & 2 Exam

Level 1 Exam:

Must complete COUN 501 and  COUN 510. We are asking that you become familiar with the Master's Student Handbook.

Level 2 Exam:

This exam is for those students who are following the 60-hr/51-hr degree plan. It acts in place of the former specialty exam that was administered with the CPCE (comprehensive exam) for the former 49 hr. degree plan. CPCE will continue to be administered for the major comprehensive exam. 

In order for you to graduate using the new degree plans (not 49-hr plans), you must pass Level 1 & Level 2 as well as the CPCE. 

For CMHC Level 2 Exam, you must complete all four courses: COUN 530, COUN 611, PSY 503, and PSY 507.

For School Level 2 Exam, you must complete all four courses: COUN 514, COUN 520, COUN 534, and COUN 539.
