MSW Applicants - The application file completion deadline for the Spring semester is October 1.  The application file completion deadline for the Summer semester is March 1.  The application file completion deadline for the Fall semester is July 1.  If you do not have a BSW degree from a CSWE accredited program, you are only eligible for Spring or Fall admission.

Your admission file will be scored, in part, based on your undergraduate GPA and GRE score, if required.  If your undergraduate GPA is below 3.0, you will receive no GPA points and even though we do not require a minimum score on the GRE, you will receive no GRE points if your GRE score (verbal + quantitative) is below 600.  Please be aware that timely completion of your admission file does not guarantee admission to the MSW program.

Please note that IF the GRE (Graduate Records Examination) is required because of a low undergraduate GPA, you will only be eligible for Conditional/Probationary admission and will not be eligible for Full admission until the completion of 12 graduate semester hours with a 3.0 GPA.

A student who is denied admission to the MSW Program will not be reconsidered for a period of at least one year.
