Educational Diagnostician

DIAGNOSTICIAN CERTIFICATION PROGRAM link

REQUIREMENTS TO BE ISSUED THE DIAGNOSTICIAN CERTIFICATE
The Certification Office will need the following items completed prior to filing with the Texas Education Agency for the Diagnostician Certificate.
1. Graduate School application (must apply to the Graduate School)
2. Professional Certification Program application
3. Certification non-refundable fee - $50 (submit payment to MarketPlace)
4. TEA Assessment non-refundable fee - $55 (submit payment to MarketPlace)
5. Transcripts
6. Teacher Certificate
7. District Service Record verifying two creditable years teaching experience at completion of the diagnostician program
8. Hold a master’s degree at completion of the diagnostician program
9. Successfully complete the TExES diagnostician exam
10. Successfully complete the Texas A&M – Commerce diagnostician preparation program (to be determined by Texas A&M – Commerce diagnostician program)
