I received my M.A. in English and Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Louisville. My scholarship focuses on literacy studies, research methods and ethics, and pedagogy. I am also interested in and have published articles on feminist and queer theories and teaching students to use technology and write in multiple modes. In addition to teaching courses on writing, research, pedagogy, and Women Writers, I direct the First-Year Writing Program.
