ACS Fuel Symposium
Green Chemistry Symposium for Fuels of The Future

The Symposium focuses on the design, development, analysis and processing of future fuels,including fossil fuels and biofuels,that sustain the environmental in a way that is both feasible and economically viable. The aim of the symposium is to provide a critical forum for scientists, engineers and administrators to present their newest progresses and innovations in this truly international field. The symposium will feature keynotes and presentations in the following areas:
- Alternative feedstocks for synthetic fuel (natural gas, biogas, syngas, ethanol, others)
- Alternative processes for clean fuels (scCO2, ionic liquids, gas expanded liquids, others)
- Ultraclean fuels from conventional or renewable resources
- Analytic and Characterization methods
- Novel catalysts and nanomaterials (synthesis, properties and applications)
Abstracts and preprints are to be submitted electronically through ACS online submission system (oasys.acs.org). The window for the submission will be open from August to November, 2009. Selected papers will be invited to submit full manuscripts for peer-review of a special journal issue.
