• Recipients of this scholarship shall be registered for a minimum of 12 hours (full-time equivalent) and be majoring in the field of engineering (e.g., industrial, construction).
• While selection shall be based on a student's ability to succeed in the demanding field of engineering, additional consideration may also be given to students who are either employees, children or grandchildren of employees or retirees of a company within the American Electric Power Company System (e.g., Southwestern Electric Power Company, Public Service Company of Oklahoma or AEP Texas) that wish to pursue engineering as a career.
• Past recipients of this award may reapply for the scholarship again in subsequent years as long as the student remains in good standing with the university.
• Academic performance, department involvement, commitment level to the degree program, and the number of registered hours will be considered in the selection of qualified candidates.
• Awards shall be made to designated individuals chosen by a departmental faculty scholarship committee.

Associated General Contractors (AGC) Scholarship: Endowment

• All undergraduate students majoring in Construction Science, Construction Engineering, or Technology Management are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
• Academic performance, department involvement, commitment level to the degree program, and the number of registered hours will be considered in the selection of qualified candidates.
• Awards shall be made to designated individuals chosen by a departmental faculty scholarship committee.

Atmos Energy:Endowment

• All undergraduates majoring in a degree from the Department of Engineering & Technology.
• Recipient of this scholarship shall be classified as a junior or senior.
• Recipient must be able to demonstrate their past or current involvement in community service programs.
• Recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to apply for and maintain this scholarship.
• Academic performance, department involvement, commitment level to the degree program, and the number of registered hours will be considered in the selection of qualified candidates.
• Awards shall be made to designated individuals chosen by a departmental faculty scholarship committee.

Buddie & Debby Barnes Scholarship:Endowment

• All undergraduates students majoring in Construction Science, Construction Engineering or Technology Management are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
• Students must have a total GPA of 2.25 or better in order to apply for and maintain this scholarship.
• Recipients are required to send the donor a thank you note.

• Recipient should be a student majoring in a degree form the Department of Engineering & Technology.

J.G. Grove Memorial:Endowment

• All undergraduate student majoring in a degree from the Department of Engineering & Technology.
• Scholarship is to be used to attract and retain students of high quality with a preference given to students demonstrating financial need.

• Recipients shall be majoring in Industrial Engineering.

Tom H. Taylor Memorial: Endowment

• First time qualified transfer students. Applicants satisfying the minimum criteria will receive awards on a first-come basis up to the level the endowed fund can support.
• Major in Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Technology Management (B.S. only).
• Must have minimum GPA of 2.25.
• A minimum of 21 transfer hours, excluding developmental courses.
• Successful completion of College Algebra or higher level mathematics prior to transfer with the exception of Business Calculus (MATH 1324 and MATH 176)
• Must take a minimum of 9 college-level credit hours during the semester the award is made.
• Must take at least one department course during the semester when the award is made.
• Awards shall be made to designated individuals chosen by a departmental faculty scholarship committee.
