Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Management

The Criminal Justice Management Certificate program is a 12-hour program of Criminal Justice coursework for those interested in criminal management or supervision.  By design, the certificate will focus on management and policy issues and specialize in management issues such as evaluating, planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting and budgeting.  Please contact Mr. Louis Lufkin at Louis.Lufkin@tamuc.edu or 903.886.5325 for more information.

Certificate Requirements:

Coursework must be completed at A&M-Commerce with a 3.0 GPA on all courses used for the certificate.  Twelve semester hours from the following (no substitutions):

CJ 520 Criminal Justice Administration and Management
CJ 577 Criminal Justice Planning and Evaluation
CJ 583 Criminal Justice Policy
CJ 597 Special Topics

Required Documents for Admission:

  • Application
  • Application fee: $50 domestic student
  • All official transcripts - Bachelor's degree, including all transcripts used towards the bachelor's degree.  Any master's degree transcript or transcripts with graduate coursework (if applicable).
