Economics of U.S. Healthcare Graduate Certificate

The Economics of U.S. Healthcare Graduate Certificate is an academic certficate (rather than a professional certificate) designed to fill specific basic knowledge gaps for healthcare professionals or for people wishing to pursue careers in healthcare administration.  

All of the courses are offered online and can be taken in any order.

Certificate Requirements:

Coursework must be completed at A&M-Commerce with a 3.0 GPA on all courses used for the certificate

12-hours of coursework as shown below (no substitutions):

ECO 501 Economics for Decision Makers
ECO 556 Health Economics
ECO 555 Health Care Services in the U.S.
ECO 557 Health Policy

Required Documents for Admission:

  • Application
  • Application fee: $50 domestic student
  • All official transcripts - Bachelor's degree, including all transcripts used towards the bachelor's degree.  Any master's degree transcript or transcripts with graduate coursework (if applicable).
