Holocaust Studies Graduate Certificate

The certificate in Holocaust Studies is an online interdisciplinary graduate course of study that will allow students to engage in critical thinking and explore the numerous components of the Holocaust and other genocides.  Contact Dr. Jeffrey Herndon at Jeffrey.Herndon@tamuc.edu.

Certificate Requirements:

Coursework must be completed at A&M-Commerce with a 3.0 GPA on all courses used for the certificate.  Twelve semester hours from the following (no substitutions):

PSCI 514 GLB/Ideology of Third Reich
PSCI 515 GLB/Select Topics Holocaust (repeatable as topics vary)
PSCI 516 GLB/The Holocaust
PSCI 522 GLB/Holocaust and Genocide
PSCI 523 The Holocaust and Genocide Education

Required Documents for Admission:

  • Application
  • Application fee: $50 domestic student
  • All official transcripts - Bachelor's degree, including all transcripts used towards the bachelor's degree.  Any master's degree transcript or transcripts with graduate coursework (if applicable).
