Jennifer L. Schroeder, PhD
Dean of the Graduate School
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become difficult for many to take graduate entrance exams such as the GRE and the GMAT. In considering this, Texas A&M University-Commerce is waiving the GRE/GMAT requirement for graduate applications for Summer 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 for most graduate programs. At this time, applicants to the graduate program in Educational Psychology are not eligible for the GRE/GMAT waiver.
For the programs for which the GRE/GMAT requirement is waived, the applicant must meet one of the program’s other options for the GRE/GMAT OR submit a resume/vita and statement of goals. The statement of goals is limited to 500 words and should address why the applicant wants to pursue the degree and how they feel it would benefit their current or future career.
