The Honors College

Honors College Experience:

  • Small classes and personal faculty mentors

  • An interdisciplinary curriculum

  • Special Honors College events

Honors College Requirements:

  • Enrollment and completion of at least 15 hours a semester
  • Students must live in Honors Housing at Prairie Crossing
  • A minimum 30 hours of Honors course credits must be completed before graduation
  • Successful defense of a thesis project
  • To be in good standing, a student must maintain a G.P.A. of 3.3 or higher
  • Students must complete 50 hours of community service during their time time at A&M-Commerce

Honors College Criteria:

  • Class rank within the top 10 percent of graduating class
  • 27 ACT score
  • 1200 SAT score (Reading and Math sections)
