Advising Contact Information

All new students attending the main campus in Commerce are required to participate in New Student Orientation where they will meet with a University Success Coach or a College Advisor to receive advising and sign up for classes.  It is a required event for all new students (freshmen and transfer). Freshmen students will meet with a University College Success Coach to be advised and registered. Contact a Success Coach by e-mail at SuccessCoaches@tamu-commerce.edu.  

Transfer students who have not completed thirty hours OR have not completed ENG 1301 and MATH 1314, 1324, 179 or 2413 (or their equivalents) with a D or better must seek advisement through University College.  Contact a Success Coach at 903-886-5174 or by e-mail at SuccessCoaches@tamu-commerce.edu.  

Transfer students who have completed thirty hours and have a D or better in ENG 1301 and MATH 1314, 1324, 179 or 2413 (or their equivalents) may seek advisement through the following offices but still must attend New Student Orientation:
