Scheduling a Group Campus Tour

We are glad to know you are interested in visiting Texas A&M University-Commerce!  Planning any kind of group field trip has its own special challenges.  We are here to help you plan a trip that will be rewarded with an excellent experience on our campus.

Currently, we offer three different tour packages designed to meet the needs of middle school, high school, and college aged groups.  Group visits are only provided Wednesdays through Friday  throughout the semester.  Regular group visits are limited to 50 participants.  Special arrangements may be made for groups as large as 75 participants but please keep in mind that some activities and resources will not be available due to space limitations and staffing.  To ensure the best possible experience for your group we do ask that all requests are made no less than four weeks in advance.

12 pm Campus Tour Only: 12pm - 1pm; includes 12 pm campus tour or photo scavenger hunt depending on group size and age.

High School/College Option: 10am-1pm; includes 10am campus tour, A&M-Commerce Information Session, and provides time to dine on campus.

Middle School Option: 10am-1pm includes 10am photo scavenger hunt, College 101 session, and provides time to dine on campus.

Visiting groups are invited to dine in our school cafeteria (buffet style) for $5.25/person with a contract with the campus dining company, Sodexo.  The scheduled lunch time for groups is from 11:00-11:40.  To make dining reservations please contact Sodexo directly at 903-468-8720 or by email at Charles.Lear@Sodexo.com.  Please let them know that you have made group tour arrangements with the office of Undergraduate Admissions.  We recommend making your request by email.  Also, if you would prefer, the students can bring a sack lunch, and we will coordinate a place for them to eat on campus.  Please let our Campus Visit Coordinator know your lunch plans in order to finalize the itinerary.
