Be a Community of Learning Leader

In 2017

With a LMS-focus

Faculty are welcomed to lead a semester- or academic year-long topic-specific Community of Learning. A Community of Learning is a group of 6-15 interdisciplinary faculty who engage in collaborative activity centered on a topic to enhance teaching and learning, to promote the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), and to build community. The CFEI will support the Community of Learning by providing a budget, facilitating meetings and activities, and providing relevant CFEI services and resources. The Community of Learning may collaborate at any CFEI space--Conference Room, Training Lab, Collaboration Rooms, Faculty Fellows & Scholars Space, online, or beyond. The Community of Learning activities may be structured as Open Lab Sessions, Lunch & Learn Session, Coffee Talks, Book Talks, online web conferencing, online chat rooms, customized Community of Learning blog, etc.
