If you have received your 2015 TRS Statement, you will note that your 2015 fiscal year salary is understated by TRS.

Attached is the December 2015 TRS newsletter. The second paragraph of page 5 describes the salary calculation for the 2015 fiscal year. Please be aware of this situation as the 2015 fiscal year will show as 11-months instead of 12 months on your statement. When retiring from TRS, if the 2015 fiscal year is one of your 5 highest salary years, TRS will attribute an extra month to the calculation to ensure you receive 12 months in the calculation for this year.
