Calendar and Announcements

We welcome all members of the university community to feature events and announcements on our calendar. This is a great communication tool that reaches current and prospective students, faculty and staff, and the greater community. Information submitted to the calendar is displayed on campus, emailed to subscribers, featured on our website and often plugged on our social media channels.

Events should be submitted as far in advance as possible, giving the calendar item more exposure and potential attendees ample time to plan. Events will be looped into the newsletter beginning one week prior to the date of occurrence.

Announcements are intended for reminders or tasks that require action. For example, event registration or fundraiser particpation. This call to action should appear in the announcement name: "Register Today for the Art Fair"

Any given announcement can run a maximum of three times and will be included in the email newsletter on the dates selected by the user.

Submit your calendar event or announcement using our online form, and be sure to read carefully as helpful tips are imbedded in the form. Once you have submitted your calendar item, it will be sent to the Department of Marketing Communcations for review. You will be notified via email once your submission has been approved.
