Residential Meal Plan Requirement

Beginning fall of 2020, Residential Living and Learning will have the following Resident Meal Plan Requirement effective:

One Year Post High School Graduation: Any residential student who enrolls in TAMUC within two (2) years of High School graduation is required to have one of the following meal plans.

  • Meal Plan options
    • 19 Convenience Meal Plan w/$400 FLEX

Two Year Post High School Graduation: Any residential student who enrolls in TAMUC within two (2) years of High School graduation is required to have one of the following meal plans.

  • Meal Plan options:
    • 19 Convenience Meal Plan w/$400 FLEX
    • 14 Meal Plan w/$400 Flex

If the student does not select a meal plan, the 14 Meal Plan w/$400 FLEX will be automatically applied

Three or More Years Post High School Graduation: Any residential student who enrolls in TAMUC three (3) or more years post High School graduation may request one of the following meal plans.

  • Meal Plan options:
    • 19 Convenience Meal Plan w/$400 FLEX
    • 14 Meal Plan w/$400 FLEX
    • None

Meal Plan Exemptions, Exceptions, and Disputes:

Exemptions and exceptions of the mandatory meal plan requirement will be documented and approved by both the University and Sodexo as partners

Dispute of assignment or grandfather status is the responsibility of the student to provide appropriate documentation to Residential Living and Learning by the 12th class day of the Fall or Spring semesters for review and resolution as necessary

Meal plan can be added through your housing application or by visiting Residential Living and Learning in Halladay Student Services, Suite 100.
