TAMUC ACM local student chapter students conducted an "Hour Of Code" event on 12-11-2015 from 2 p.m to 4 p.m in room JOUR200, at the department's 2nd floor computer lab. Ten students from different departments of our university attended the event. Chapter students gave a brief introduction to Computer Science through a presentation and thought basic concepts in Web design, Java Script and how to code few games like "Minecraft" and "Jetpack Jumper" using scratch according to the participants' individual interests. More resources on where the participants can learn and improve their programming skills were provided. Check this page regularly for future ACM local chapter activities.
