Scheduling a Defense 

Notification Form for the Final Thesis Defense must be submitted and with TDS no later than 7 days prior to the date of defense.

Schedule Form for the Proposal Defense and Schedule Form for the Final Defense must be submitted and with the Graduate School no later than the 20^th of the month before the date of the defense. 

Submission Deadlines

FALL SUBMISSION DEADLINES:

Last day to defend a final dissertation for a fall graduation is the 4^th Friday in October

Final thesis & dissertation submissions must be with TDS no later than the 1st Friday in November 

Submission of thesis or dissertation proposals for Fall approval must be with TDS no later than the 4th Friday in November

SPRING SUBMISSION DEADLINES:

Last day to defend a final dissertation for a spring graduation is the 4th Friday in March

Final thesis & dissertation submissions must be with TDS no later than the 1st Friday in April

Submission of thesis or dissertation proposals for Spring approval must be with TDS no later than the 4th Friday in April 

SUMMER SUBMISSION DEADLINES:

Last day to defend a final dissertation for a summer graduation is the 3rd Friday in June

Final thesis & dissertation submissions must be with TDS no later than the 4th Friday in June

Submission of thesis or dissertation proposals for Summer approval must be with TDS no later than the 4th Friday in July
