OFFICE OF STUDENT ADVOCACY & SUPPORT
The Office of Student Advocacy & Support provides holistic support services to students. Staff uses a case management approach to assist students in navigating on and off-campus resources. The goal of this office is to collaborate with students to come up with solutions to the challenges they face during their time as a student.

TYPES OF ASSISTANCE OFFERED
- Individual meetings to assess concerns of students in distress or crisis
- Referrals to campus and/ or community resources
- Consult with faculty, staff, and community on a variety of issue
- Assist students who are unsure which office to contact regarding an issue
COMMON ISSUES ADDRESSED BY STUDENT ADVOCACY
- Death of student, friend, or family member
- Student hospitalization for a physical or psychological condition
- Financial hardship
- Difficulty navigating campus
- Changes in behavior
- Well-being concerns
