We achieve this by delivering high quality applied managerial skills, developing critical thinking acumen, and engaging with external stakeholders. We are committed to teaching excellence and to the creation and dissemination of knowledge to advance theory, practice and pedagogy. As a student in our department, you will receive hands-on experience through internships, symposiums and workshops. Many of our faculty members have extensive industry experience and are eager to help you prepare for the challenges in today’s business environment. They also have wide-ranging research interests and seek to contribute to academic and business-oriented literature.

Supply Chain Management (BBA)

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management program provides students with a solid foundation in supply chain management activities and decision-making. This includes all processes pertaining to the flow of goods and services, from the raw material stage to the final customer. The program aims to create a knowledge base that is necessary to meet the increasing demand in logistics, operations and supply chain management.

SAP Student Recognition Award Program

The SAP Student Recognition award signifies you have developed a detailed understanding of SAP concepts and gained an introductory proficiency in SAP. You must successfully complete three of the following courses to receive the award. Employers have stated that this training, and the subsequent award, are considered a valuable skill and would be highly considered in employment decisions.

Six Sigma Greenbelt Program

The Six Sigma Greenbelt certificate program introduces you to the most commonly used quality management tools and then guides you to use those tools on a Six Sigma project. The completion of this program allows students to demonstrate to employers their mastery of Six Sigma concepts.

Starting January 1, 2019, students must successfully complete MGT 340 Quality Management and Improvement, MGT 591 Quality Management and Six Sigma to receive the certificate.
