Respondus

Overview

Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to D2L. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment with programs such as Word and then imported to Respondus for uploading to D2L.  Whether you are a veteran of online testing or relatively new to it, Respondus will save you hours on each project.

Process for Faculty Assistance

If we are given enough advance notice, our team can assist faculty with uploading exams.  The following are the turn-around times for helping with exams using Respondus.

  1. At least 2 business days advanced notice during normal semester operations
  2. Allow for up to 4 business days advanced notice during peak times like the beginning of the semester and during midterms.
  3. For peak times, please be sure to prioritize your request for quiz assistance.  For instance, identify which quizzes must be completed and available first, rather than requesting all course quizzes be loaded the first week of class.
  4. Assistance is dependant on staff availability
