  • Is the Library hitting the mark? Take our survey and let us know!

    Velma K. Waters Library invites you to take part in the 2021 Annual Library Survey. The purpose of the survey is to improve Library services and collections. The survey is open through June 30. It takes approximately 5-10 mins and includes question responses and basic demographic information. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses will be anonymous. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Sandy Hayes. Your participation is much appreciated.

  • Study Rooms Open

    Study rooms in Waters Library with some restrictions. You may use the online room reservation system or request a study room at the Front Desk.

  • Remote Resources and Services Guide

    TAMUC Libraries' Remote Resources and Services Guide was created to provide insight into library services continuity available to the university community. Information will be updated as needed.

  • Laptop Charger or Calculator Request

    To ensure we have a laptop charger or calculator available when you come to the Library, please submit a request form and wait for a reply saying that your item is available.   • Checking out books

    To minimize person-to-person contact and enforce social distancing, we are suspending in-person checkout of print books. If you live on campus or in the city of Commerce submit a Print Book Request Form to obtain print books. Library Staff will pull the materials and check them out to you. You will receive an email when they can be picked up at Velma K. Waters Library on the Item Pick Up Shelf.

    If you live outside the city of Commerce submit an Interlibrary Loan Request to obtain print books.
