How I Can Help You

As an Associate Director for Residential Living and Learning, I meet with students and families that need assistance beyond what their Community Director can provide. In addition, I oversee things like development of community standards, crisis response, and the residential experience as a whole.

A Conversation with Julia

What is a college transition you had to make?

I started my college career at a community college in northern California. Transitioning from the community college environment to a mid-size University was a huge change, especially since I had lived most of my life in a town about the same size as my new campus community. Luckily, I had great staff and faculty there, and supportive friends that helped me navigate all the newness. I try to return the favor for students here at A&M Commerce whenever possible!

What do you like to do when you are not working?

When I am not working, I love travel, live music, and exploring North Texas!
