Leanna Vannoy transferred from Texas A&M University to A&M-Commerce to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and her first grandchild. She chose to transfer instead of seeking a new opportunity because she loves working for the A&M System and the atmosphere it provides.
Vannoy loves animals and reports having a soft spot for all of them. She has a rescue cat named Whiskey and a Shih-Tzu, Bella, who both make her smile every day.

I love helping people. Assisting students and colleagues makes me happy. I enjoy the challenges that come with learning new things.
How do you help students at A&M-Commerce?
The Honors College is focused on helping students succeed through their college careers and into their future. We provide events, learning opportunities and support throughout their time at A&M-Commerce. We strive to help students achieve excellence and seek to bring camaraderie and fun to these amazing years of college.
