Several years ago, Priyanga (Pri) immigrated to the United States from Nepal, so she personally understands the international student experience. As director of the Office of International Programs, Pri is passionate about representing and advocating for international students on campus. She is excited to meet students from all over the world and learn about their unique cultures.
How I Help Students at A&M-Commerce?
I strive to offer individualized advice to each student who walks into our office. I approach each student's issue with care and understanding. No immigration situation is the same, and each student needs tailored guidance to meet their needs. My top priority is to ensure that our international population is well represented and advocated for on campus. The Office of International Programs emphasizes quality service and care while creating pathways of opportunity for our international and domestic students, and I am excited to lead this charge! I am willing and able to work with anyone who wants to be a part of our international Lion family.

Ten years ago, I began my career in the Office of International Programs at A&M-Commerce. In that role, I established myself as a trustworthy mentor for the international student community. I have a deep passion for international learners because I immigrated to the United States from Nepal. In Spring 2021, I accepted the position of director of International Programs. I am dedicated to providing the best academic, professional and social experience for visiting students.

A&M-Commerce is a state leader in quality education and academic instruction. We proudly offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees in several fields, including STEM, healthcare, and education. Class sizes are usually small, allowing for in-depth discussions and professional relationships with professors. We also have wonderful professors who are invested in students' educational goals and growth.
