As a new Lion, we are excited to welcome you to the Pride! We've noticed all you’ve accomplished and congratulate your decision to join the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS)!

As a TAMUC Scholar, you will benefit from:

• Mentorship and advising with faculty from the College of Education and Human Services
• Opportunities to work with faculty in undergraduate research projects
• Focus on the future you've always wanted with our Student Career Preparedness Office
• The opportunity to graduate with a master's degree in one of the COEHS 4+1 degree programs

You will join a greater campus community focused on ensuring that you receive the support and personalized attention to help achieve your academic and career goals. All TAMUC Scholars receive cords/stoles to wear during their high school graduation (if the school district permits).

Access your invitation to become a TAMUC Scholar by visiting your application email and confirming your participation in the program. You will receive more details on the next steps upon receipt of your confirmation to join us as a TAMUC scholar. We look forward to celebrating you and partnering in your future success as a Lion!

Important Dates to Remember

An invitation is coming for you to attend Admitted Student Day on April 15, 2023. This event will provide an opportunity to tour the campus and residence halls and meet your future faculty members and other new Lions. Additionally, you will be able to meet with the Financial Aid and Scholarships office, finalize housing and sign-up for summer orientation.

During Admitted Student Day, all TAMUC Scholars will receive special recognition during a reception hosted by the College of Education and Human Services. You will receive a TAMUC Scholar Lion Country backpack.
