
Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Sign-ups Open Now
East Texas A&M University will host the Roll ‘n' Shoot 3-on-3 Wheelchair Basketball Tournament on May 1 at 5 p.m. at the Nursing and Health Services Building gym, room 175.
Sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Performance and the Physical Education Teacher Education Program, the tournament is open to all individuals. Wheelchairs will be provided to those who do not have their own.
Tournament games, lasting fifteen minutes each, will be between three-person squads, with the eventual victorious team claiming a prize.
Registration is currently open, with a $50 entry fee per team. Proceeds go toward the Special Olympics. All East Texas A&M faculty, staff, students and alumni are encouraged to participate, as well as community members. Registration ends April 29. For questions, contact Dr. Sandy Kimbrough.
Spectators are also welcome, free of charge.
