The Texas A&M-Commerce Annual Research Symposium is a one-day event that highlights the depth and breadth of our undergraduate and graduate student research. Participating students interact with campus faculty members, other students, and the larger community through oral presentations or poster sessions. The event is designed to help the university address its mission of creative discovery and dissemination of knowledge and ideas. A&M-Commerce’s Annual Research Symposium is supported by the Division of Research and Economic Development and the Provost's office.

The Texas A&M University System Annual TAMUS Pathways Research Symposium is open to all Texas A&M System students interested in presenting their research, networking, and learning about other students' research within the system. Students are placed in one of three categories of research: undergraduate-, master's-, or doctoral-level research. Opportunities for both poster sessions and presentations are provided; all students must interact and discuss their research with the attendees.

The Federation Research Symposium enables students from three of the region’s top universities to join in celebration and learning as they discuss their own research and explore the work of others. Students from Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas Woman’s University, and the University of North Texas make presentations and participate in poster sessions in the spirit of collaboration. Each year, the day-long event is held on one of the campuses and provides dollar awards to the top presenters. The symposium is the product of decades of partnership among the three universities in the North Texas region. The federation, which was approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in 1968, is designed to promote collaboration in selected graduate degree programs and fields of study, to facilitate graduate student’s professional development and research opportunities, and to coordinate administrative services for the benefit of graduate students at the three institutions.
