Student Government Association

Student Government's purpose is to serve as a channel of communication with the faculty and administration of Texas A&M University-Commerce. We collect concerns and ideas from the students and present them to the Administration and Faculty.  Senate also meets with the respective Deans and Directors when issues arise to find out the origin of it. From there, we work with students and administration to try to reach a final solution both parties can agree on. Student Government continues to strive for excellence in everything we do.

Our Mission

The mission of the Student Government Association is to empower, enable, serve, and represent the needs and rights of the students and the university community of Texas A&M University-Commerce.

We meet every Wednesday night at 6pm in the Rayburn Student Center Legacy Room.
