Travel Signature Week

Each semester the ISSS designates certain weeks toward the end of the semester as Travel Signature Week. During this time students may visit the ISSS between 1pm-4pm to request a travel signature for their I-20 or DS-2019 (J-1 student).  The ISSS staff will review the student's documents and sign the I-20 or DS-2019 while the student waits (generally no more than 15 minutes).

Upcoming Travel Signature Walk-in Times:  May 10-11 from 1pm-4pm Halladay 104

Requesting a Travel Signature

The travel signature for the I-20 and DS-2019 is valid for one year from the date of the signature. To request a travel signature submit the following to the ISSS during the Travel Signature Week:

Travel Information Workshops

Visa and Travel Resources

Emergency Travel Signature Requests

Any travel signature requests received outside a dedicated Travel Signature Week will be processed within two to five business days.  Due to the high volume of emergency requests the ISSS receives we will not accept any request to expedite a travel signature.  If the I-20 or DS-2019 cannot be signed before a student leaves the U.S. the student may set-up express mail shipping so the ISSS can send the documents to the student once we have reviewed the request and signed the I-20 or DS-2019.
