Mentor Center
The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) Mentor Center, located in Education North 204, is designed to serve as a hub of communication for students and between COEHS departments. It is the goal of the Mentor Center to offer information, guidance and specialized services to students as they progress toward their academic and career goals.
The Mentor Center seeks to serve students who have majors and are seeking a degree in one of the following COEHS Departments:
- Curriculum and Instruction:
- Early Childhood Education (EC-6th Grade)
- Including Bilingual, ESL, and Special Education specializations
- Middle School Education (4th - 8th Grades)
- Math
- Science
- Language Arts & Reading (Bachelor of Science only)
- ESL (English as a Second Language)
- Secondary Education Certification Courses (8th-12th grades, major in content area)
- Early Childhood Education (EC-6th Grade)
- Health and Human Performance
- All-level Kinesiology Teaching
- All-level Health Teaching
- Athletic Training
- Human Performance
- Sport/Recreation Management
- Coaching (Minor) - For non-HHP majors only
- Health (Minor)
- Instructional Training and Design
- Psychology
- Counseling (Minor only)
- Social Work (Must apply to be admitted into program)
- Special Education
