MS Technology Management

A 36 hour (12 Course), on-line only, non-thesis graduate program in Technology Management has been designed to prepare program graduates for career advancement and career enhancement in domestic and global technology-intensive businesses and industrial enterprises.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Technology Management program at Texas A&M University-Commerce will...

  1. evaluate and defend leadership and organizational strategies associated with technology-intensive enterprises;
  2. summarize and explain organizational development and strategies common to technology-intensive enterprises;
  3. formulate and assemble component ideas in order to successfully execute a project plan; and
  4. analyze information in order to formulate effective solutions;

The Technology Management Master's Program is fully STEM-qualified.  The program is approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) under Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) Code 15.0612 – Industrial Technology/Technician.

The MS-TMGT program is delivered as an entirely on-line program.  Core courses are offered exclusively in an on-line format.  Note that some elective options or courses might not be available in an entirely on-line format.  Depending on your selection of elective option(s), the entire program can be completed online.  As there are no face-to-face courses offered in the core, International students studying on a F-1 or J-1 Visa are not eligible for this program.

TMGT 595 - Applied Research in Engineering & Technology must be taken in the first available term once admitted to the program.
TMGT 599 - Technology Management Practicum may only be taken after completion of all core course requirements, or concurrently with one remaining core course, during the student's final term. 
The Master's Comprehensive Examination is administered through TMGT 599.
