A&M-Commerce Professor Receives National Award from American College Personnel Association
Texas A&M University-Commerce faculty member Katie Koo, assistant professor of higher education, has been announced as a winner of the Emerging Scholars Award from the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). The ACPA is an international organization committed to college-level student affairs practices as well as student learning and development. The Emerging Scholars Program acknowledges and encourages individuals who are pioneering research efforts aligned with the mission and vision of ACPA. Koo is one of only five national award recipients. She will be honored at the ACPA National Conference in Nashville, scheduled for March 2020. Koo earned her doctorate in student affairs from the University of Maryland in 2016.
