Apple Exec. Comes to A&M-Commerce

The Texas A&M University-Commerce student chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) invited Apple, Inc. Account Executive Vonn Miller and Systems Engineer Ken Gray to their meeting to discuss the “Opportunities of Developing Mobile Apps for Apple.”

The AIS student chapter at A&M-Commerce is dedicated to creating a support learning and social environment for management information systems major students. Students who have passion for information technology can get in touch with the latest developments and trends in the industry through membership.

“The AIS student chapter meeting has become a very important social event for students and our industrial partners like EquityMetrix, Fastenal, and Apple”, said AIS student chapter faculty advisor Dr. Bo Han. “It's like a face-to-face LinkedIn on campus for students to expand their social networks in the industry before they get into the job market.”

The meeting will be held on Feb. 10 at 5 pm in the McDowell Administration Building's room 343. It will be open to all students, staff and university faculty.
