Paige Bussell Received 2013 Barton/Nelson Leadership Award

Paige Bussell, University Registrar at Texas A&M University-Commerce, recently received the 2013 Barton/Nelson Leadership Award at the 2013 Salt Lake City, Utah Conference in recognition of outstanding service, leadership and vision.

CoHEsion is a membership organization of the community of users from all the global education solutions of Ellucian. CoHEsion is an independent association run by and for users of Ellucian Solutions, where members share and learn new ideas and processes. Users in the CoHEsion organization develop and support national conferences for the benefit of the users of Higher Education solutions for Banner, Lumnis, Extender, and Plus among others.

“It was very humbling to be recognized with such a distinguished honor by my peers,” said Bussell. “I love what I do and the people I work with and being able to help others in my field.”

Bussell has been involved with the CoHEsion organization for 17 years. She also attended, presented and served as the student track years for four non-consecutive years.

Last November, Bussell also won the President's Award at the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrar and Admissions Officers Conference.
