Salazar Appointed Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Counseling and Development

Dr. Carmen F. Salazar, professor of Counseling in the Department of Psychology, Counseling and Special Education at Texas A&M University-Commerce, has been appointed to a three-year term as Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Counseling and Development. The Journal of Counseling and Development is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the American Counseling Association. It publishes practice, theory, assessment and diagnosis, trends, practitioner profiles and research articles across 19 different specialty areas and work settings. “I feel honored to be chosen from among my peers nationally to serve the American Counseling Association in this role,” said Dr. Salazar. “I welcome the opportunity to make a small impact on the entire profession.”
