A Conversation with Lexxi

What would you tell a student considering A&M-Commerce and working at the Lyon Center for Gamebird Research and the Quail Research Laboratory?

Here, you will find a close-knit group of people who have a passion for quail and other gamebirds and are willing to help one another in any way possible to achieve their goals.

Outside of academics, what are your passions and hobbies?

Outside of academics, I have a passion for animals aside from quail and gamebirds. I have a pet-sitting business that brings me joy. I love getting to meet new animals all the time and giving their family the sense of relief that their pet will be well taken care of while they are gone. It's fun taking care of animals I might not normally have as a pet, too. A hobby of mine is going to estate sales and finding all kinds of quail-related items, especially if it is northern bobwhite. I also love to collect art as a hobby.
